Leadership Memphis, Volunteer Memphis, and
Graduate Memphis are partnering with the City of Memphis and the National Civil Rights Museum to facilitate the second annual MLK Days of Service weekend Jan. 12 – 15, 2018, to
commemorate MLK50 – the 50th anniversary of Dr. King’s assassination.
Volunteer Memphis has expanded its goals for 2018 to make this service weekend even more impactful with plans to facilitate 500 service projects with 50 partners and 5,000 volunteers across nine Mid-South counties: Fayette, Haywood, Lauderdale, Shelby, and Tipton counties in Tennessee; DeSoto, Tate, and Tunica counties in Mississippi; and Crittenden County in Arkansas.
